This is a private, non-commercial personal finance application operated solely for its owner. It is not offered to the public or to third parties.

Data processed

The application may process account identifiers, account balances, transaction details, payee information, dates, amounts, currencies, categories, and related bank-account metadata for the owner's linked accounts.

How data is obtained

Banking data is retrieved at the owner's request through Enable Banking and participating financial institutions after the owner grants consent. Enable Banking and each financial institution process data under their own privacy terms.

Purpose and legal basis

Data is processed solely to provide the owner with personal financial tracking, budgeting, reconciliation, reporting, and account aggregation. Processing is based on the owner's explicit request and consent.

Storage and retention

Application data is stored on the owner's self-hosted Actual Budget server. It is retained for as long as the owner uses the application or needs the records, and can be deleted by the owner at any time.

Sharing

Personal data is not sold, used for advertising, or shared with other users. Data is disclosed only as required to operate the bank connection (including Enable Banking and the relevant financial institution), to maintain the self-hosted service, or when legally required.

Security

Reasonable technical safeguards are used, including encrypted HTTPS access, access controls, and private self-hosted storage. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

The owner can revoke bank consent through the relevant bank or Enable Banking, disconnect accounts, export records, or delete information from the self-hosted application.
